Scholarships

There are a number of bursaries and scholarships available at St Matthew's.
 
Junior Scholarship:  Year 7 & 8
Each year one scholarship or two bursaries are awarded by the Principal to a Year 7 girl/s as a result of their performance in the scholarship examination and review.
 
The payment of this award is reviewed each year and continues for two years providing the recipient performs to a satisfactory standard.
 
Senior School Scholarship:  Year 9 - 13
Each year one scholarship or two bursaries are awarded by the Principal to a Year 9 girl/s as a result of their performance in the scholarship examination and review.
 
The payment of this award is reviewed each year and continues for five years providing the recipient performs to a satisfactory standard.
 
Old Girls' Scholarship
The Old Girls' Scholarship is awarded to the daughter of an Old Girl of St Matthew’s.  Application should be made to the Secretary, Old Girls' Association.
 
Boarding Allowance
We draw your attention to a Boarding Allowance payable by the Government in certain circumstances.
