PIn'd Creative Showcase
SMT Students all took part in the Pin’d Creative Showcase competition in Tauranga this weekend.
The results show how competitive we were amongst over 300 entries from all Bay of Plenty schools.
For 17 years this competition was for students from that geographic area only and last year they opened it up to schools outside of the area.
Students have to design, construct and model in one of the 9 categories (or have modelled by another student) their entry.
Year 9&10
On the Boardwalk:
2nd in the category: Meg Branthwaite
Highly commended: Hannah Sorrell, Hannah Penn, Amelia Parker
Pretty in Pastels:
Highly Commended: Anna Bebbington
Nominated as finalists for Yr 9& 10 Workmanship: Lochiel Nielsen, Meg Branthwaite, Isabaella Robson
Year 11
Sports Influence:

2nd in category: Kate Sims

I am awaiting the official results but this has been proofed by the students involved.
35 students and many parents and Ms Gill travelled to Tauranga for the weekend. The feedback has been that it was very worthwhile.
